Dale Kahl has been a professional horse trainer since 2005, working with all types and breeds of horses, including Mustangs, Arabs, Quarter Horses, Warmbloods, Morgans, and Paints.  His first experience with horses was when he was growing up on a cattle ranch in North Dakota, where he first learned how to ride on a Shetland pony.  His Father taught him to start a colt, leading him to starting colts for neighboring ranches.  In 1980 he moved to Phoenix, AZ, where he started Thoroughbreds for the race track.

In 2009, Dale moved to Texas where he currently starts horses for several local cutting and reining horse trainers and private horse owners that need help with colt starting and problem solving.  He strives to always improve his horsemanship skills and pass along what he has learned to his clients to ensure that they succeed with their horse once it goes home.

Although not a certified Parelli Instructor/Clinician, Dale has studied Levels 1 through 3 of that program and incorporates them into his training methods, along with that of other notable trainers such as Buck Branaman, Bill Dorrance and Ian Frances.

Located in Hico, Texas, just 15 minutes from Stephenville, Texas - Cowboy Capitol Of The World.
